The Yorkie-Poo is a cross between the Yorkshire Terrier and the Toy Poodle.
They are alert, friendly, and highly trainable. They can also be highly protective of their humans, and may require extra training in this area.

This breed is considered hypoallergenic, and sheds very little to not at all making them suitable for people with allergies.
If kept long, the Yorkie-Poo coat requires frequent brushing in order to prevent matting. Their coat can be cut every few weeks to keep it short and low maintenance. Ears should be checked, teeth brushed, and nails trimmed as part of regular grooming.
Yorkie-Poos benefit from moderate exercise such as walks and short periods of energetic games like fetch. They may enjoy mental exercise as well.
