Goldendoodles are a mixed breed, the result of a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. They are considered a newer breed, with their origins in the early 1990’s, and have grown to be one of the most popular breeds in the country. They are known for their wavy/curly coats and are loyal, energetic companions.

Goldendoodles are known for their thick curly/wavy coats that are less prone to shedding than their Golden Retriever ancestors. They do require regular brushing and benefit from the occasional trip to the groomer.
Most Goldendoodles are considered non-shedding, and are a great choice for allergy sufferers.
Goldendoodles love the chance to run and play, and tend to behave best with moderate-to-high amounts of exercise.
