Miniature Pinschers are well known by their nickname, "Min Pin." This breed is fearless and fun. They are often described as a big dog in a small dog's body.
They are well known for a high-stepping, or "hackney" gait, and are loved across the world.

Miniature Pinschers are moderate shedders. Their shedding level can be lowered with frequent brushing.
The Min Pin's short coat is easy to maintain. A weekly comb with a soft bristled brush will keep their coats healthy and shiny. Their nails should also be trimmed regularly, as long nails can cause discomfort.
The Miniature Pinscher enjoys daily exercise and should be walked daily.
